QCA has developed new materials for the Teacher assessment activities series for key stages 1 and 2. Designed to support existing classroom practice and formative assessment methods, these materials provide examples of assessment activities to help identify, track and enhance pupil progress. They are fully integrated with the national curriculum programmes of study and supports Assessment for Learning in the classroom.

The series now covers five subjects at key stages 1 and 2:

• Art and design
• Design and technology
• Geography
• History
• ICT.

There is a book of activities for each subject at each key stage, including concise teacher guidance that explains the structure of the materials and how to use them.
