Membership
The Committee is chaired by the Deputy Chairman of the Board. He is supported by the Chairman of the Board and other members. The Chief Executive attends meetings as an observer. A quorum consists of two members, one of whom should be either the Chairman or the Deputy Chairman of the Board. The QCA HR Director also attends Committee meetings when appropriate.

Purpose and remit
The Committee advises the Chief Executive on the remuneration of the QCA Executive. Its remit is:
- to determine the remuneration and associated conditions for the Chief Executive
- to determine, on the advice of the Chief Executive the pay and remuneration of QCA Directors and the senior management team
- to determine, on the advice of the Chief Executive, policy issues relating to pay awards, bonuses, compensation, severance packages and pension arrangements
- to maintain oversight of pay and conditions of the next tier of staff, ie Band F, particularly in respect of any impact on Band G terms.

The Committee reports to the QCA Board
Frequency of meetings
The Remuneration Committee should meet three times a year as follows:

| December | To review a survey of pay and conditions offered by other organisations |
Additional meetings are held as necessary, usually by telephone conference.
