QCA Board Standing Committees

The three Board standing committees (Audit, Remuneration and Nominations) help the Board fulfil such obligations as financial reporting, pay policy for senior management and the size and structure of the Board itself.

The Board retains ultimate responsibility in these areas, but the Committees give assurance that these important Board duties are being discharged.

Audit committee

The QCA audit committee’s purpose is to help the Board fulfil its obligations in respect of financial reporting, internal control, risk management and audit matters. The committee reports formally to the Board five times a year.

Remuneration committee

The QCA remuneration committee is responsible for setting the remuneration policy for the Chief Executive and QCA's senior management team. The committee meets three times a year, with additional meetings as necessary.

Nominations committee

The QCA nominations committee is responsible for reviewing the structure, size and composition of the QCA Board and makes recommendations to the Board on this basis. The committee meets as necessary.
