Using performance data

This area contains case studies showing how a range of schools are using pupil performance data to improve teaching and learning. Each school has faced its own challenges, and the case studies show how the school has used such data to identify and respond to these challenges. The case studies are not about the collection or analysis of the data, but the way in which the data is used to inform teaching and learning in the classroom.

The schools have developed different systems that suit their own needs. Some systems are paper-based, while others use networked electronic recording. Some are fully developed, while others continue to develop to make them more effective. Whatever type of system your school uses, or aims for, the case studies provide ideas, and advice on how to manage the changes.

If you would like to nominate your school for a case study, please send an outline of the challenge your school has faced, the system in use and the changes to teaching and learning introduced as a result of using performance data to tests@naa.org.uk
