The curriculum: taking stock of progress
The Qualifications and Curriculum Authority has a responsibility to develop a modern, world-class curriculum that will inspire and challenge all learners and prepare them for the future.
Last year we published The Curriculum: QCA looks forward which set out the work we planned to do from 2006 to 2009 to ensure that the curriculum fulfils its purpose and achieves its aims.
One year on, The curriculum: taking stock of progress looks back to what we said we were going to do last year to begin to make this vision a reality. We evaluate our progress so far, and then look forward to the work that still needs to be done.
The curriculum: taking stock of progress again builds upon the results of our annual curriculum monitoring programme with schools and our work with government, business, employers, awarding bodies, education system leaders and school communities.
You can download the report from the right-hand side of this page. Print copies can be ordered from the QCA Orderline.
