Diversity and inclusion in mathematics
QCA has produced several sets of material on diversity and inclusion. Respect for all has case studies showing how teachers provided learning opportunities in mathematics for pupils to value diversity and challenge racism, extending their perceptions of themselves and other people.
The national curriculum website has guidance on teaching mathematics to gifted and talented pupils.
The publication Planning, teaching and assessing the curriculum for pupils with learning difficulties includes guidance on teaching and assessing mathematics. P scales offer performance descriptions for pupils working below level 1.
