Good practice example 7: Displaying positive images
A primary headteacher who wanted to promote a more inclusive ethos photographed children from different backgrounds, ages and ethnic groups playing together. The images were blown up and posted around the foyer of the school, giving an immediate message to pupils, staff, parents and visitors about the school’s commitment to equality and diversity, in line with its values and overall mission.
