Good practice example 5: Journeys to Britain
Pupils use web-based resources to access information and images of the migration of local minority communities to Britain. Follow-up activities include interviews with local people and a display showing individual journeys. The pupils are encouraged to understand UK cultural diversity from a perspective that counters assumptions and stereotypes.
