Good practice example 1: Experiencing other cultures
A primary school in a rural area has established regular email links with a similar school in the Caribbean. Children exchange weekly emails with their e-pals, exchanging information about the weather, what they have learnt, the games they play and other mutual interests. As well as developing their ICT skills, children are exposed to the views and experiences of children from other cultures and are encouraged to take an early interest in the lives of people in another country.
