Basic and key skills test specifications
Skills for life and key skills test specifications
The test specifications give details of how marks for each test are allocated by skill area. Each test assesses these skills across a range of contexts. The practicalities of this mean that there may be occasional slight variations in terms of the balance of skills assessed. To ensure that candidates are not disadvantaged, any such variation is taken into account when determining pass marks.
