Children should: Design and make a puppet for a purpose.
Writing activity identified in the unit: Children could investigate ways of joining two pieces of fabric. Related activities could include writing instructions on how to use a needle and thread.
NB All the design and technology units contain a design and make activity. Instruction writing could be incorporated into any/all of these activities. |
