Welcome to the Citizenship pages on the QCA website. National curriculum online has the non-statutory guidelines for PSHE and citizenship at key stages 1 and 2, and the statutory guidelines for citizenship at key stages 3 and 4.

New guidance Citizenship and PSHE: Working with external contributors provides practical information about planning and evaluating activities involving external partners and community based organisations. Checklists and evaluation forms are included.

Materials to exemplify standards for citizenship have been added to the national curriculum in action website. Pupils work is used to show what the subject is like in practice and to illustrate different standards of achievement at key stage 3. Guidance on making end of key stage teacher assessments is also included.
