Primary case studies
Last updated: 07 Apr 2009

As enthusiasm for curriculum development grows, powerful stories are emerging from across the country of schools that are making a positive difference to learners through curriculum innovation. Although the approaches they are taking vary, all share a vision of creating a curriculum that meets learners’ needs, interests and aspirations, and inspires in them a love of learning.
The stories in this section come from primary schools. Why not pick out the examples that are most relevant to your setting and share them with colleagues and governors? You may also find it helpful to look at the secondary case studies, as many ideas for curriculum development are equally valid for learners of all ages.
More stories will be added on a termly basis, so please keep checking for updates.
