Curriculum guidance

Between 3 November and 1 December 2008 we consulted on guidance for each level for these four lines of learning. The findings from the consultation will help us to develop high-quality guidance materials. The curriculum guidance is scheduled to be published on the QCA website at the end of March 2009.

Other information

The launch event for the 2008/09 qualification development process was held on 2 September 2008. The first qualifications in phase 3 lines of learning are currently being developed, and it is expected that they will be ready for publication in September 2009 for first teaching in 2010.

Consultation on line of learning criteria (which define the parameters of the principal learning qualifications for each Diploma at each level) took place between May and June 2008.
