We are currently developing curriculum guidance for the phase three Diplomas.

We want to improve upon the good work done in phase one and two - guidance is available here - and provide even more in depth and exciting content. We are keen to get as much input from practitioners as possible and by taking part in the consultation you will be able to help us develop the draft guidance, meet fellow practitioners and sector specialists and participate in a discussion around content.

We will be holding two consultation events in London on the 7th October and 12th November 2008. If you would like to attend either (or both) of these events please contact Laurentine Goulei at lgoulei@lsneducation.org.uk, or by calling on 020 7492 5320 by 26th September 2008.

The launch event for the 2008/09 qualification development process was held on September 2nd. The first qualifications in phase 3 lines of learning are currently being developed, and it is expected that they will be ready for publication in September 2009 and first teach in 2010.

Consultation on Line of Learning criteria (which will define the parameters of the principal learning qualifications for each Diploma at each level) took place between May and June 2008.
