New programmes of study at key stage 3

QCA has published a new programme of study for design and technology at key stage 3, for year 7, to be implemented from September 2008. The new programme of study can be viewed on QCA's secondary curriculum website. The website gives a range of support and guidance to help schools develop a world-class secondary curriculum for the 21st Century. See Related Links on this page.

Although the new secondary curriculum has been launched, the existing programmes of study still apply to learners who began year 7 in September 2007. See National Curriculum Online, in Related Links.
