Factsheet: Building the Framework for Achievement

As part of the government’s skills strategy, QCA and its partners – the Learning and Skills Council and the Sector Skills Development Agency – were asked to take forward work to develop a flexible unit-based qualification framework. This proposed framework would allow learners to earn credit for their achievements and, if required, accumulate credit as they progress to new learning programmes.
