Background

The process of withdrawal has started with titles that have the lowest number of candidate entries. In most vocational areas,alternative provision has been identified.Centres need to explore which alternative(s) will best meet their needs,and plan for their introduction. The awarding bodies are working together with the regulatory authorities and the Joint Council for Qualifications to make this transition process as smooth as possible.The awarding bodies are fully committed to offering high-quality support to centres and students completing programmes already under way.
