Teacher assessment activites aim to help teachers: plan for assessment activities, investigate pupils’ understanding and identify learning needs, focus support where it is needed, encourage pupils to develop techniques for monitoring their own progression. What do they include? The book of activities includes: a range of comprehensive activities ready for use in the classroom, guidance on interpreting pupils’ work in relation to the national curriculum level descriptions, guidance on how to record evidence and give feedback to pupils, guidance on implications for planning further teaching, references to other relevant materials.
