In March 2005 the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) was commissioned by the Department for Education and Skills (DfES) to review the secondary curriculum. The review is part of QCA's broader vision to develop a modern world-class curriculum that will inspire and challenge learners and prepare them for the future. (Ref. QCA/07/3123)
