Key stage 3

History has a significant contribution to make to inclusion, literacy, ICT, citizenship and the foundation subjects strand of the Key Stage 3 Strategy. History provides pupils with many real contexts in which to develop and use a variety of learning skills that are important across the curriculum. At the same time, the development of wider skills is important in enhancing pupils' learning in history.

This section contains guidance and details of related websites on how to create worthwhile links between key stage 3 history and a range of other curriculum areas. To access this, select one of the links under 'Contributing to the wider curriculum' (on the right-hand menu).
