Although the website is primarily designed at present for teachers of five- to 14-year-olds, you will find much valuable material for teaching students in the 14-19 phase.

Many of the ideas and approaches in the various key stage 3 sections of the website, learning matters, assessment matters, geography plus and leading geography, are, with modification, relevant to key stage 4. If you're interested in new developments in geography, careers in geography, promoting geography, continuity and progression or fieldwork, visit Geography matters, which is designed to support geography across all key stages and phases.

The Teacher Resource Exchange in the Virtual Teachers’ Centre provides a moderated database of geography resources and activities for use in key stage 4 and post-16.
