Who is it for?

Headteachers, English, mathematics and science heads of department, key stage 3 English, mathematics and science teachers, key stage 3 assessment coordinators / exams officers, special educational needs coordinators and teachers of pupils in years 7 and 8.

It is also sent to local authorities, initial teacher training institutions, educational libraries and teacher centres.

The ARA sets out statutory arrangements and provides information and guidance on the national curriculum assessment arrangements for key stage 3 in 2008.
