2.1Year 7 progress tests
The year 7 progress tests will not be offered alongside the key stages 2 and 3 statutory tests in the 2008 or subsequent test cycles. However, year 7 progress tests in English and mathematics will be made available as part of the optional tests for years 7 and 8 in 2008 and beyond. For further guidance, see section 3.3.
