Finding help outside school

Schools that are making the most of the arts tend to forge strong links with partners outside school. This enables them to:

  • give pupils and staff first-hand experiences of professional performances and exhibitions;
  • give pupils and staff experience of working alongside artists;
  • increase teachers' skills and confidence;
  • give pupils and staff insight into careers in the arts and creative industries;
  • give pupils positive role models;
  • help pupils appreciate the diversity of different cultures.

This section of the website gives advice on where you can find partners, funding, advice and support.
