Finding help outside school
Schools that are making the most of the arts tend to forge strong links with partners outside school. This enables them to:
- give pupils and staff first-hand experiences of professional performances and exhibitions;
- give pupils and staff experience of working alongside artists;
- increase teachers' skills and confidence;
- give pupils and staff insight into careers in the arts and creative industries;
- give pupils positive role models;
- help pupils appreciate the diversity of different cultures.
