Widening participation

Many schools and colleges providing Curriculum 2000 programmes are involved in initiatives to widen participation in HE. Aspects of Curriculum 2000, such as attainment of AS levels and the ability to combine general and vocational qualifications, can contribute to widening participation. Some strategies to support 16-19 students to apply to and succeed in HE can be found in the case studies.
