Introduction to HE

This section deals with the relationship between the new qualifications, including key skills, and universities’ entry requirements.

The brief guide to level 3 qualifications also has information about HE application.

The case studies in the ‘supporting students’ section include examples promoting wider participation.

In August 2004 UCAS published 'Changes 14-19', a guide for HE to recent and forthcoming changes to curriculum and qualifications. The document was distributed to all HEIs and is available electronically on the UCAS website.
