Work-related learning baseline study 2004

This major study examines the position prior to the introduction of the statutory requirement. It identifies attitudes towards work-related learning and the structure and quality of provision.

Evaluation of 14-19 Pathfinders

The twenty five phase one 14-19 pathfinders started in January 2003. The pathfinders are testing local delivery of education and training to offer young people a greater range of curriculum choices to suit their skills and enable them to fulfil their potential. The Department for Education and Skills commissioned the Universities of Leeds and Exeter to evaluate the pathfinders' work during the first academic year (to July 2003).
