Using the new GCEs, successors to VCEs

The new General Certificates in Education (GCEs) in vocational subjects are being introduced for first teaching from September 2005 as successor qualifications to Vocational Certificates in Education (VCEs).

Centres planning to use these qualifications should use this guidance alongside the materials produced by the awarding bodies and the Learning and Skills Development Agency (LSDA).
