This guidance provides information about how partners from business and the community can contribute to work-related learning. In particular, it provides ideas on how and where their expertise and experience can be used, the resources they can draw on, and the varying levels of support that they can commit. Teachers can apply the effective practice to their own subject or area of the curriculum.

The guidance will also help schools to develop strategies for making contact with employers and enlisting their help and cooperation. It includes a table showing how employers can support the different elements of QCA’s work-related learning framework.
