Work-related learning

Work-related learning is a significant aspect of the 14-19 curriculum. It is important that schools and colleges are aware of what work-related learning means for different students in different contexts. From September 2004 it became a statutory requirement for all schools to provide all students at key stage 4 with work-related learning. Some schools and colleges will also want to ensure that students have the opportunity to build on this learning post 16.

The information and guidance in this section of the website will help providers in planning, running and evaluating successful work-related learning programmes.
